Dr. Gunnar Hörnsten
has more than 25 years of experience within Nordic biotechnology, spanning academic R&D, at industrial research institutes and in business. He has established and coordinated/managed Networks and larger R&D programmes involving many participants (total exceeding 150 companies) on the Nordic market since 1994. His speciality area involves analytics within Microbiology and Biotechnology in which he holds an associate professorship (docent) at Linköping Institute of Technology where he worked 1982-1993. In 1997-2003 he worked part time at the Biotechnology department at Lund University while employed at the Swedish Institute for Food and Biotechnology. He takes part in EFB activities e.g. M3C on Modelling, Measurement, Monitoring and Control; in the external advisory board of ERA-net (ERA-IB) on Industrial Biotechnology; previously involved in European metrology (iMERA) and Swedish representative in the CCQM BioAnalysis Working Group 2006-7. Founder of Hörnstens Analytica in 1992. Founder and CEO of CEFFORT AB in 2009.
Jan-Gunnar Gustafsson, B.Sc., M.Sc., MBA, CEO and owner, Bio Evaluation BO AB.
Jan-Gunnar Gustafsson has more than 18 years in the bio-pharmaceutical industry (primarily companies within the Pharmacia sphere and Biovitrum) and 30 years in biotechnology. He has broad experience of manufacturing and process development of biopharmaceuticals, including technology transfer to large-scale production plants. He has also been responsible for marketing, selling, proposals and negotiations and buying CMO services. Has performed Due Diligence and set up the legal and business deal. He has an Executive MBA from The Stockholm School of Economics and was member of the board for CBioSep, the Swedish Centre for Bio Separation in Lund, Senior Vice President, Process Development and Manufacturing, Resistentia Pharmaceuticals AB, CEO for EntreprenörCenter Development AB, Uppsala and Klostervine AB.

Erling Hörnsten, CEO, Hörnstens Fastighets AB and HÖRNSTENS BYGGHERREOMBUD
Erling Hörnsten founded Hörnstens Byggledningsbyrå AB 1964 and has since then managed a large number of building constructions. Including industrial estate, nuclear power plants, university buildings and concert halls. He was also head of building constructions at the Bank of Sweden during an 18 year period on consultancy basis. Including management of the construction of its Head office in Stockholm. His unique business concept is to be the representative of the property developer; specialising on property development based on optimisation of the invested resources of the property developer; financially, functionally and architecturally. He was CEO of the Västerås city council development company for the construction of Mälardalen University.
